Our client is a successful technology and telecoms business looking to hire an experienced senior project manager to work at their office in Reigate.
Installation and programming of PABX & Network Hardware/Software at customer premises
Installation works specified have been carried out as instructed delivering a high standard of work ensuring any mess created is removed and the site left as found, whilst ensuring the instructions set out by Salesperson and/or Project Management have been executed within timeframes set. Thorough testing of hardware and software installed to ensure successful completion of works to the customer’s satisfaction.
Effective liaison with customers, Networks, and 3rd parties involved
Throughout any type of works communications are established throughout with all parties involved. Any outstanding queries or works followed up thoroughly until completion.
Maintenance diagnosis/replacements for hardware and/or software
Faults diagnosed as maintenance call outs are resolved in a methodical, professional and timely manner, and the customer is communicated to throughout the process until completion. whilst considering support contract SLA’s to ensure that the company meets the agreed timeframes set out within the contract.
Remote technical support to customers for system & software related queries
Customer faults are resolved remotely, effectively, and the customer is communicated to throughout the process by way of telephone or email until resolution, whilst considering support contract SLA’s to ensure that the company meets the agreed timeframes set out within the contract.
Out of hours’ technical support to be provided on a Rota basis for customers with extended or 24/7 support in place.
Remote programming for additional works and system related changes
Professional liaison with Customers to ascertain required changes. Implement, test and agree the work is complete.
End User training for hardware and software products installed
Professional demonstrations are carried out on PABX systems and/or any other applications that have been loaded on to the customer networks, with user guides & cheat sheets provided.
Internal/External cabling installation, terminations & testing
Installation of cabling has been carried out as instructed delivering a high standard of work ensuring any mess created is removed and the site left as found. End to end testing has been carried out & certified testing certificates provided when required for standard/performance ratification.
Support Project Management team technically on Projects
Advice requested from the project managers and project coordinators has been delivered as requested and information sourced where necessary. Good communication maintained at all times.
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
Minimum of 2 years industry/manufacturer (Mitel) experience including product related qualifications for installations and ongoing support of PBX and Network Hardware/Software.
PABX and Network Hardware/Software Applications trained
IT Microsoft office proficient and pc literate. Experience of carrying out IP-based installations. LAN / WAN Fundamentals, preferably at CCNA or CTP level. You must also possess an excellent thorough fault process mentality to correctly evaluate calls. Self-reliance on technical abilities and knowledge.
Experience of managing escalations working closely with the manufacturers to successful resolution. Able to demonstrate focused customer care skills, both on site and remotely. Clear direction setting and methodical work ethic.
Strong communication skills. Well presented with a flexible positive attitude and good proactive problem solving skills.
Good telephone manner. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a professional manner. Ability to understand the point of view of other departments and put own point of view clearly. Good at keeping other departments in the picture and flagging up potential problems.
